Medical Supplies
Most of our medical supplies are offered at no charge to the patient. Our care professional will always inform you of any charge for a medical supply prior to providing it to you.
Medical Appliances/Equipment
We obtain authorizations to provide our patients with all necessary medical equipment/appliances to ensure their full recovery from illness or injury. Appropriate care staff will set up equipment and ensure its safe operation and where applicable, will instruct the patient or patient’s caregiver in the use of the equipment. Our care professional will inform you of eligible insurance coverage for the equipment.
Pharmaceuticals
All patient medications are prescribed by the patient’s physician. Our licensed care professional will take verbal orders for medications or charges to medications and will appropriately administer medications to the patient under the physician’s order for the patient. All medications and treatments shall be administrated as prescribed. While our policies don’t permit care professionals to transport medications, we urge the patient to alert our care professional of any existing difficulties in obtaining their medications so that we may make arrangements to have the medications delivered to the patients who are substantially burdened.
